ECHA invites participants to register for first stakeholder day
The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has opened online registration for its First Stakeholders´ Day to take place in Helsinki, Finland on 10 October 2008.
This first stakeholders´ day of ECHA is foreseen as an opportunity to:
- Get the latest information on developments in ECHA´s activities and the forthcoming challenges in the implementation of REACH,
- Share views on REACH implementation and expectations regarding stakeholders’ involvement in ECHA´s activities,
- Ask questions and get answers on issues of interest from the ECHA management.
At this event, Dr. Ninja Reineke from WWF, a steering committee member of the Chemicals Health Monitor Project, will present the NGOs’ views on the ECHA’s dialogue with stakeholders.
The Agency invites interested participants to register for the event on the website. Registration is open till 5 September 2008. Places are limited to 400 participants. The target audiences are non-governmental organization and industry associations with an interest in REACH implementation.
