Special publication on European Conference on Human Biomonitoring
Bulletin Epidémiologique Hebdomadaire - Lire en français.
A special issue of the Bulletin Epidémiologique Hebdomadaire (BEH) on the European Conference on Human Biomonitoring (HBM) has been published in English and French on the Institut de Veille Sanitaire (InVS) website. The conference was held under the auspices of the French presidency of the European Union in Paris on November 4-5, 2008.
This special issue includes a number of case studies and programmes that were presented at the Conference. The aim of this material is to raise awareness among all the concerned stakeholders about the use and value of human biomonitoring in environmental health.
At this conference, Lisette van Vliet from the Health and Environment Alliance (HEAL) and Sharyle Patton from Commonweal made a join presentation to share their experience how human biomonitoring can be used to raise awareness for policy change thru public interest campaigns .

- This website is a part of the Chemicals Health Monitor Project (CHM), which aims to improve public health by ensuring that key scientific evidence on the links between chemicals and ill-health are translated into policy as quickly as possible. The CHM project was launched by the Health and Environment Alliance (HEAL) in collaboration with CHEM Trust, Collaborative on Health and Environment and other partner organisations across Europe in March 2007.
