Public Hearing on Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals
The International Chemical Secretariat, or ChemSec, will be holding a Public Hearing on Endocrine Disruptors on May 3rd in Brussels.
This event will also see the launch of the famous ’Substitute It Now’ or SIN List, version 2.0. The SIN List features chemicals which fulfill the REACH criteria as ’most harmful’ and which should be swiftly taken up in the Candidate List.
Two renowned scientists on Endocrine Disruptors will speak at the hearing: Dr Peterson Myers, co-author of the groundbreaking Our Stolen Future; and Dr. Carol Kwiatkowski, Executive Director, The Endocrine Disruption Exchange, founded by Dr Theo Colburn, co-author of the groundbreaking Our Stolen Future.
